About Us

Hi!  I'm the one in the black shirt with my logo on the back, running around like a crazy woman taking photos of your kids on stage:) I have been shooting for Spotlight Youth Theater since the Summer of 2009, making this coming year my 8th season.  I have shot over 650 shows, and over 150 different production so I'm pretty good about getting the shots and key moments that tell the story of the show.  Professionally, I have been a full time Photographer for the last 15 years, focusing on theater, actor and corporate headshots and real estate.   I do seniors as well but I don't advertise as heavily for that. 

I have been involved heavily in Spotlight for the past 7 years, teaching, directing and subbing for classes, as well as coaching Project dance (DuPage) and Jr. Project Dance (Kane).  I love that I get to watch these talented kids grow and learn right before my eyes and become young adults.  My favorite part of a show, isn't really the show itself, it's in the process.....when a kid struggles and then there is this moment when the lightbulb goes on and to see their face light up is priceless.  THAT'S why I do my job. THAT'S God's little gift to me, seeing them grow, succeed, fall, and get up to try again.
